The Activities

The " Association Samten Tsé" (France) was created in 2005. Its goal is to support Her Eminence Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche's activities and charitable projects. It is managed under the spiritual guidance of His Holiness Mindrolling Trinchen - head of the Mindrolling lineage of Tibetan Buddhism - and his daughter Her Eminence Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche, head of the Samten Tse Monastery in India. Nevertheless the way the Association works is ruled by French legal requirements.

Its Purpose: Support charitable projects that aim to improve the conditions of living of the populations based in India, Tibet and other Himalayan regions; Provide for people's needs in terms of education, medical care, and other essential care; Promote social values of equality and brotherhood by helping the integration of the most vulnerable members of those communities; Encourage cultural and worship traditions of those same populations.

Its Means of Action: Help building schools, free health center, monasteries; Encourage doctors' visits; Provide medicines; Send money to the existing structures to help them in their functioning; Promote individual or collective sponsorship actions; Use appropriate means to inform and heighten public awareness.

Its Financial Resources: Members' subscriptions Donations Benefits made out of events - whether cultural, artistical, or other - that it may organise. Public or private funds
